PURCHASING AGREEMENT WILL BE SENT VIA E-MAIL UPON APROVAL

This agreement was entered into on: , by and between Leslie Lewis, herein after refereed to as Breeder and , herein after referred to as Buyer, regarding the sale of one Great Dane Puppy.

The terms and conditions surrounding the purchase of said puppy are set-forth. Filling out this agreement constitutes that I the Breeder, and you the Buyer has a verbal/written agreement on the puppy of your choice. Buyer must fill out their required information, sign your signature, date and return to me the Breeder, along with your non-refundable deposit. Deposit
and completed purchasing agreement must be received by the Breeder within (3) business days of the approved sale. If I the Breeder have not received the deposit and or completed purchasing agreement within the time specified above, then this puppy in question will become available to the next Buyer. Buyer understands that I the Breeder reserves the right to refuse a sale or cancel a sale at any given time. In the event that I the Breeder cancels this sale, then I the Breeder agrees to return/refund all moneys, including the deposit that were received by me within (10) days from the cancel. However, if you the Buyer should decide for whatever reason that you do not want this puppy, then all moneys received by me the Breeder will not be refunded.

Payment Information: Deposit is non-refundable unless the purchase of this puppy is canceled by the Breeder, so please be sure of your commitment before sending it! All payments must be made out to Leslie Lewis. Payment types accepted: Certified Bank Cashiers Check, Walmart Money Gram or Postal Money Order. I do not accept personal checks.

Note: Puppy must be paid in full, including any shipping cost 1 week before puppy leaves my care.

Registration Eligibility and Affixed Kennel Name: I the Breeder certifies that this puppy is eligible for registration under the regulations of the American Kennel Club (AKC), as a purebred Great Dane. This puppy will be registered online by the Breeder to ensure proper registration. The fee for the registration only is included in the puppy price. The Breeder reserves the right to affix a kennel name, “kennel prefix” and supply a registered name for the puppy. Required affixed kennel name will be Lewis` Outlaw. Buyer shall supply the rest of this puppy’s AKC registered name following the Lewis` Outlaw kennel name in the space provided below. If this puppy does not receive a registered name before leaving the Breeders care, then Breeder reserves the right to register this puppy under the registered name of my choice.

Breeder Guarantee: I the Breeder GUARANTEES the health and temperament of this puppy at the time of sale and pick-up/shipment. If something should happen to this puppy while still in the Breeders care then a replacement puppy of the same quality, gender and color as described within this agreement will be offered if one is available. If Breeder does not have a puppy available at that time, then I the Breeder will issue a refund on all monies received, minus the deposit within (10) business days.

This puppy is GUARANTEED/WARRANTIED to be free of genetic disorders of the hips for a period of 24 months from its date of birth. If this puppy develops genetic hip dysplasia before the date of his/her second birthday, then this puppy will be replaced with a puppy of the same quality, gender and color as described within this agreement. Buyer is responsible for all
vaccines, health certificate and or shipping cost that pertains to the replacement puppy. If I the Breeder do not have a replacement puppy available, then I the Breeder will issue a refund of the puppy purchase price, minus the shipping price if applicable.

I the Breeder has the right to request a written diagnosis at the Buyers expense from (2) separate licensed veterinarian that are not affiliated with each other. Buyer must submitted the Hip Radiographs to both pennhip and OFA (Orthopedic Foundation For Animals) for an evaluation and both must receive a failing mark. I the Breeder will also request any and all information on treatments that are or were available, all veterinarian reports, findings and radiographs. Buyer must promptly notify me the Breeder prior to beginning any treatment or choosing to euthanize this puppy or this hip guarantee/warranty will become null and void. In the event that euthanasia of this puppy is deemed to be in the best interest of the dog by a competent veterinarian because of the development of genetic hip dysplasia, then the Buyer must supply the Breeder with a veterinarian death certificate. In consideration that this Great Dane can live a comfortable life and you the Buyer wishes to keep him/her then you may still pick your refund option. The following conditions must be met before the replacement/refund option may be initiated.

Conditions For Refund: Buyer agrees that this puppy has never sired or whelped a litter. Buyer agrees to have this puppy sterilized (spay/neutered) if not done so already. Buyer further agrees to provide a signed copy of a veterinarian certificate from the veterinarian who performed the "sterilization" procedure to the Breeder as verification that it has been completed.

Buyer must provide me the Breeder with all that is stated herein before one of these transactions is set forth.

Breeder Does Not Guarantee: There are many factors that can influence growth and development. No warranties or guarantees apply to health related problems caused by improper nutrition and or poor quality of care once this puppy has left the Breeders care. These include but are not limited to, diet, exercise, weight gain, under-weight, rough playing, injury, accidents, illness, HOD, OCD, Pano, etc.. Great Danes are very clumsy and sustain self inflecting injuries.
Any and all of the above mentioned minor or major problems need to be checked by a veterinarian. Buyer agrees to contact Breeder regarding the veterinarians advise for treatment before treatment is initiated. Buyer further agrees to take into consideration the advise of the Breeder.

Except for the above limited warranty under section Breeder Guarantee, the Breeder assumes no financial responsibility for this puppy once he/she has left my custody/care.

Initial Health Exam: Buyer is required to take this Great Dane to a veterinarian within (48) hours of receiving for a get acquainted visit and physical, (No Exceptions Will Be Granted). The results of this checkup in the form of a veterinarian certificate must be received by me the Breeder within (7 days) from the date of the Exam. Documents must be sent via certified united states postal mail and must require my signature for proof that it was received. If I the Breeder
do not receive the veterinarian documented proof of this exam within the time mentioned above, then the hip guarantee will become null and void.

AKC Limited Registration: Buyer understands that (if) this puppy is purchased and placed on AKC Limited Registration, puppy must be sterilized (spay/neutered) no sooner than 6 months of age and no later then 13 months of age. Further more, Buyer agrees to provide a signed copy of the veterinary sterilization (spay/neutered) certificate from the veterinarian who performed the procedure to me the Breeder as verification that it has been completed no later then (7) days after
the date surgery was preformed. Upon receiving the puppy’s spay/neuter certificate, I the Breeder will then at that time forward you your puppy’s AKC Registration, via United States Postal Mail.

Buyer understands that if this puppy is bred the Buyer will be in breach of this contract and legal actions will be taken.

AKC Full Registration With Breeding Rights: Buyer understands that (if) this puppy is purchased and placed on AKC Full Registration, puppy will be eligible for breeding under once the following requirements are met.

AKC Full Registration Breeding Requirements:
* Buyer agrees if this Great Dane is a female, she will not be bred before the age of 24 months.
* Buyer agrees is this Great Dane is a male, he will not be bred before the age of 13 months.
* Buyer agrees that this Great Dane will only be bred to another Great Dane. No other breeds accepted.
* Buyer agrees not to abuse the breeding abilities of this Great Dane.
* Buyer agrees that once this Great Dane (regardless of gender) has been bred, you will not rehome him/her once you are finished breeding it. This Great Dane will retire and remain in your home/care for life.
* Buyer agrees that any progeny resulting from a breeding of this Great Dane will be sold to a responsible, loving, forever home.
* Buyer agrees that any progeny resulting from a breeding of this Great Dane will not be sold to any pet stores, back yard breeders or puppy mills.

Buyer understands that (if) this Great Dane is purchased and placed on AKC Full Registration, and this Great Dane is bred without following the breeding requirements, the Buyer will be in breach of this contract and legal actions will be taken.

Health Requirements: Buyer is responsible for any and all appropriate medical care and or cost that is necessary for maintaining the health and welfare of this puppy for life. Buyer will provide annual medical examinations and routine health care including vaccinations, worming, yearly heart worm test, provided monthly heart worm prevention on time which must be (Interceptor or Sentinel Only). (No Fort Dodge Vaccines) of any kind. Failure to follow the Health Requirements will result in the hip guarantee becoming null and void.

Diet and Maintenance: It is highly recommended this puppy receives the following
supplements. Nzymes Granules or Treats, Probiotics and MSM Natural Sulfur.

Note: If Buyer believes that these foods are not working for this Great Dane, please inform the Breeder right away so that I can help you find an alternative.

Buyer is required not to feed this Great Dane any grain-free diets, supplement, calcium, vitamins, table scraps, cooked meat, raw diet etc. unless specified in writing by me the Breeder.
Buyer is required to feed all meals in a raised food dish intended for large/giant breed dogs.
Buyer is required to feed this Great Dane 2 to 3 meals a day for life. Buyer agrees to provide adequate opportunities for exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle. However, to ensure healthy bone and joint development and in order to maintain the health warranty, excessive jogging/running prior to 18 months of age will be restricted by the Buyer.

What Breeder Provides: This puppy will receive AKC Registration and a AKC litter certificate; plus a written contract with a 2 yr health guarantee, dew claw removal, a vet exam at 8 weeks of age that will include a vet health certificate, a vaccine record indicating that the puppy is up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations and wormings, a pedigree copy and a sample of dry food. All of our new puppy families will receive a puppy information packet that includes pictures of your chosen puppy, along with lifetime breeder support. Puppies that are shipping by air will receive a brand new airline crate.

Additional Terms Of Agreement: Buyer agrees that this puppy is not being purchased for resale nor will it be used or trained for activities that are illegal. Puppy will not be used as a guard or attack dog or to hunt or fight other animals. Buyer agrees that this puppy will be housed as an indoor family pet only where he/she will receive proper care emotionally, physicality and
nutritionally. Buyer agrees to continue with proper house breaking, ongoing socialization and basic manners. Buyer agrees that this puppy will not be at any time chained, tied or roped to a stationary object. This puppy will not be kept locked up in a closed room and or crate for an extended period of time. Closed room and or crate must be kept clean at all times. Buyer agrees to provide all personal contact information upon any change so that the Breeders records may be updated. Buyer further agrees to send me the Breeder updates and pictures of this puppy upon my request. Please understand that I want to stay in contact with all of my puppy owners so that I may follow the progress of each and every puppy that I produce.

Surrendering or Re-Homing: In the event that you the Buyer is unable to keep or care for this Great Dane, under no circumstances is this Great Dane to be surrendered to an animal shelter, rescue organization or pet care facility of any kind. I the Breeder will always be available as a safety net for the life time of every Great Dane I produce no matter what. This Great Dane can be returned to me the Breeder if any such contingency arises. In the event that the Breeder is unable to except the return of this Great Dane, then I the Breeder reserves the right to assist the Buyer in re-homing him/her with the right to screen all potential new owners. This Great Dane is not to be resold or given away free of charge to another party without written permission from me the Breeder. In the event that this Great Dane must be returned or re-homed, any and all
papers pertaining to this Great Dane including medical records, AKC registration and pedigree along with any medication, prescriptions, heart worm prevention, flea topical's etc. must be turned over to the new owner. Buyer agrees that this Great Dane will be “sterilized" before returning back to the Breeder or placing with the new Owner (s) regardless of their AKC
Registration status. No refunds or reimbursements will be granted on a returned, surrendered or re-homed Great Dane.

Breeders Right of Repossession: Breeder reserves the right to repossess, cease or take back full possession of this Great Dane in the event that he/she is being neglected, abused, miss treated or the Buyer has broken or breached this agreement in anyway, shape or form.

Buyer Information:

Violation Of Contract: Buyer understand that any changes or amendments made to this agreement after the signing of this agreement must be made in writing. Any and all changes/amendments must be signed by both the Buyer and Breeder. Signatures must be witnessed by a Notary of public and the affixed notary seal/stamp must be applied. Your signature below indicates that you have been given ample time to review this purchasing agreement associated with the purchase of this Great Dane puppy. You the Buyer has read, understands and agrees to all conditions and terms set forth in this agreement/contract. The Buyer further understands and agrees that any breach of this contract by the Buyer may result in repossession of the above mentioned Great Dane. Any legal expenses or-other fees incurred by the Breeder to enforce this contract shall be the responsibility of the Buyer. All terms, health warranties and guarantees stall be considered null and void should the Buyer be in breach of any portion of this contract. No refunds will be issued if the Buyer voluntarily relinquishes ownership
for any reason, or if any breach of contract by the Buyer results in the repossession of the above mentioned Great Dane. All legal matters will be handled with-in the county and state that I the Breeder resides in.
